2016 chev bed on a 2001?

What will the body lines of a 2016 box look like if mounted on a 2001 chev truck?  The 07-14 lines wont work at all, but the 2016 lines look similar.

the 16 looks cool because of the larger/height above the wheel... the( flare) put some bigger meats on it...

I BROUGHT UP BOTH PICTURES OF THEM...SURE THEY DONT MATCH BUT THATS A GIMMIE...SO YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE??

Both boxes mount to the frame differently. Bumper/ bumper mounts wont line up or bolt right in for that matter. Fuel door and filler neck are in different locations. There will be cab clearance issues at the bottom of the bed and cab corners.
