Start with 2 new bulbs and while it is still apart use a test light to verify power and grounds. what wires do what, hi lo and ground. Is it ok with 2 new ones or is there a problem before plugging in, during the tests.

Both randomly started working fine the last time I started it but I'll run the tests anyways. Thank you for the help

Filaments that break could still make intermittent contact based on vibration, jarring or temp, so that can be a simple answer.
