Overheating
Asked by Harrison0129 Apr 10, 2018 at 09:23 PM about the 1995 Ford Crown Victoria LX Sedan
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria. It is
still overheating on me even after I
changed the thermostat and it keeps losing
coolant, but I can't find the leak even after I
put in a leak detector. Does anyone have
any advice or previous experience with this
problem?

Would do a compression test on engine. May be head gasket related and your coolant is ending up in the exhaust. If you have a heavy smoker then you have an issue.
Unload your Crown Vic now, get a Crown Vic or Town Car 2004 or newer. U will double your gas mileage and own a reliable car that'll go 500,000 miles. eBay has the best prices for these cars.
Intake manifold... Around the thermostat housing..its a easy relpace..no gasket sealer needed..
