Car won't start

Asked by Kris_22 Feb 09, 2017 at 03:17 PM about the 1999 Ford Crown Victoria 4 Dr S Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my car was squeeking and I figured it was the
belt. It popped off on while driving and I replaced
the belt after it started up no problem but was
squealing even louder and then wouldn't start up
then I  figured out that it was a tensioner pully
because it was loose so I replaced it now it won't
start at all even after connecting jumper cables

Check the battery cables and the starter circuit. A voltage drop test might be in order.
