1991 Ford Econoline E 150 I will be driving and the engine will stop without a warning and after while it would start again with no problem, and again the engine will stop please somebody help me.

try haveing someone check to see if it throws a problem code,a lot of autopart stores will put a code reader on it for free sounds like a fule problem plugged filter or pump failing

I've had same problem. I think it's electrical because I changed main fuel pump, both gas tank pumps, fuel filter and changed gas. Since then I had ignition starting problems and changed key switch and ignition switch. I don't know where to go from here. Still quits when I'm driving. After it heats up a while it no longer shuts down. HELP

i had a 57 ford 150 van and it quit, junpered starter and started. no time limit on restarting. changed, starter solenoid,ignition switch and starter, no help. sold it, never stopped doing it.
