Hearing air decompress from the motor after turning in the ignition off not sure what it is? Help

What can i do about solving the problem of having trouble filling up my gas tank on a Ford Econoline van? Every time I try to fill up, the gas hose nozzle always shuts its self off. It takes forever to even put in $20 worth of gas because of the stopping and starting. I can only fill by letting gas trickle in slowly. Help! 3 Answers
