I have a 1993 Ford ranger

1993 Ford ranger got from friend check engine
light was on, it stalled at stops restarted rite away
then the starter went  ,got new one now when I
drive it won't restart only when it wants to that
lasted a few days now it won't start ,turns over
fuel comes out of the rail when i push on the pin
have not checked spark again yet but did have
spark when I checked before this last time I have
not looked up codes it's just going from bad to
worst,oh there is no air filter never was I put a
marine battery in it for a friend to charge for him I
did have to put a new battery in as mine went and
now the alternator is not putting out all of this
from the starter to not running 2 weeks. ??

No wonder the friend didn't want it. Scan for the codes to determine what is going on with the engine. https://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/pulling-codes.819324/
