I have a 1999 ford ranger wont start.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Went to start it.  Dead.  Jumped it.  Drove about 15 minutes in it.  Parked it.  
Tried to restart it.  Dead again.  Also, while on that 15 minute drive, it stalled
pretty bad, and the tach and speedometer went crazy for about half a mile.

Ignition witch?  Solenoid?  Fuse blown?
