Passenger Side Power Door Lock Not Working

Asked by GuruDTR828 Jul 13, 2024 at 01:23 PM about the 2006 Ford Escape XLT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2006 Ford Escape XLT 3.0L with 65,000
original miles that suddenly started having
issues with passenger side door lock not
working. It will not work with key fob or switch. I
removed door panel and checked switch with
probe and all wires get power except for
pink/white wire which only gets ground. I have
attached article below I found in here Car Gurus
for the driver side lock with same issue. My
question is, does this seem like the same issue
and what other wire would I connect the
pink/white wire to? Any help is greatly
appreciated.

Check the wires in the door jamb boot , one may have broken over the years
