my 2003 expedition wont go forward but will go in reverse and when it starts
up it makes a loud wineing noise

I think your transmission is shot. Ford has the best rebuilt transmissions so check with your Ford dealer. 3 year unlimited miles warranty!

i started my truck yesterday and put it on drive and it moved forward a little but as i kept pushing the gas it would start to lose power and i put in on reverse and it reversed ok. what is wrong with my truck does that mean its still shot?

sounds like a dirty transmission filter and bad torque converter. i had the very same problem.
