what does it mean if my 2005 ford expedition will only drive in 2nd gear and reverse? If i put it in drive it will REV up to 4 or 5 and not go any where. so im having to drive it in 2nd gear how can i fix that?

what does it mean if my 2005 ford expedition will only drive in 2nd gear and reverse? If i put it in drive it will REV up to 4 or 5 and not go any where. so im having to drive it in 2nd gear how can i fix that? ive recently had my coils pack and spark plugs changed what else can it be? I think I might be having a computer problem also cause the codes aren't popping up when I take it to get checked
