Does any one know if this is a reliable used car to buy? I am on my last legs in a '97 Odyssey with 203,000 miles. I this Ford on the street with a sale sign. It has 72,000 miles and they want $8,000.

offer $7000.00,see how the owner reacts, they good vehicles, but on down side they love gas.
Thank you for your help. I looked online and saw some people had problems with the "spark plugs bowing out" on their 2003 Ford Expeditions. From what I gather, Ford might not have drilled the holes deep enough to accomodate the plugs on this model. Should this be a deal-breaker? (Like most of us these days, I can't afford to make a mistake)
this generation of them had problems,as for blowing out spark plugs, people dont realize the heads are aluinmun ,replace plugs with engine warm, will strip the threads in head, you change them on a cold engine and use antiseize on plug threads.with 72,000 it probley still has the factory plugs in it.if everything checks out,no ses light ask for maintance records, that is key, maintance.yea go for it.
