Cats straight piping

I have ran my 04 Expedition 5.4 v8 2wd with a misfire for a
bit and itkost all power. Shops have quoted me all over
1000$ to fix it. I’m wonder if I straight pipe the car would I
need to do anything additional after doing so? . I just need
it to run right untill I save up enough to get a better/crappy
work vehicle

It still won't run right. You have my sympathy as I just had to do my 03 Expeditions left side cats.
