MY 2006 FORD EXPEDITION HAS NO FOWARD GEARS ,ONLY REVERSE, WHAT COULD BE WRONG?

i had similar problem, which triggered check engine/transmission warning lights (2012 audi s5) The original thought by my mechanic was transmission failure. It turned out to be the alternator belt failed and needed replacing, fixed my car..Maybe your problem too?
