I drove over train tracks and my ford explorer died it would not restart but all electrical was fine

auto zone checked battery and it was fine but when they connected the diagnostic computer it would not read my computer or connect

try checking your computer terminals to the ecu sounds like you got a dead computer or a bad connection. pull all the plugs off the ecu *main computer* from under the hood. i can't help myself with this one but just for gags... FORD ..Found On Road Death. lol my guess tho is something in the wiring just shimmied loose. if you have battery power threw out the car its not the battery or its wiring. but the likely culprit is sounding to be a loose wire or fuse. so check for corrosion as well.

check your o2 sensors. I had one laying on my exhaust and it melted the wires and blew a fuse and my truck cut off
