Clutch

Asked by Warren Apr 09, 2017 at 01:26 PM about the 2001 Ford Explorer Sport 2WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 1998 Ford Explorer sport with rear
wheel drive and a sideways engine cuz it's
the smaller style. Clutch sinks right to the
floor and won't switch into any other gear.
What would the problem be and /or possible
fixes.

It would be with the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder that would need replacing. You should take it to a shop for repair as this is a difficult repair to do.
