Will a 2005 Ford Explorer rear differential fit in my 2002
Explorer Sport?

Most likely but check the tags on the differentials and make sure the gear ratio is the same.

There are so many questions here like: "Will a driveshaft from a 1999 Borgward Legatz fit in my 2003 Borgward Wombat?" People tryin' to save money, and I get that- but as the economy gets worse, it may be time to circle the wagons, people- and either get a car built before 1980, or get a new apartment close to the light rail-
