New code P0401; why?

Asked by Michael Oct 25, 2020 at 12:14 PM about the 2005 Ford Five Hundred SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Ford five hundred and recently put a new EGR valve on and
cleaned the throttle body port, and now I got a new code P0401. Any ideas why
or what's wrong? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

Did you have a po401 code before and that led you to change EGR valve? if it wasnt there before and is now, changing and cleaninf the throttle body may have set off the code. Re-set it and see if it comes back
