Why will my car not shift out of 1st gear

I had this car purchased for me because I
had no other choice. It drives very smooth
and everything seems okay, but the gear
will not shift from first. The car look like it
was in a rebuilt from a past accident.

Could be many things especially if rebuild wrong from wreck. Check transmission fluid. Look to see if wires are plugged in to transmission.

Theres no dipstick, ive looked everywhere!! And i dont really see any wires. I think i might try to just get rid of it while i can

The dip stick for tranny fluid is at the middle front clear at the bottom right behind the fan look all the way down to the ground you will see it.

son that’s the cvt trans. it don’t have no shift points lol it’s made like that
