Hi rod_sim, This link will take you to an adapter that allows you to plug in an iPod, game system, satellite radio, etc. http://www.amazon.com/FRD04-AUX-PIE-Adjustable-Auxiliary-Vehicles/dp/B000CK9S7O Good luck!
Here's another solution that I've heard good things about: http://www.usaspec.com/ipod_product_sheets/ford1.pdf
Another source: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/blitzfordcanmlink2.html. It is said to work well with the '05 Five Hundred factory radio.
How I can connect I phone
I use this interface and it works great on a 2006 Ford Five Hundred I have iPod mp3 and aux button works now http://www.oemautosound.com/p-43-ford-auxiliary-input-frd04-aux.aspx
I cant click on the link my friend is having the same problem what can he do?....so does he have to buy some kind of adapter ?
Go to oemautosound and search for FRD04-AUX that is the Ford auxiliary input adapter http://www.oemautosound.com/
The auxiliary interface will allow you to use the AUX button
