2002 ZX5 Ford Focus has shudder and dash lights are on?

Asked by DoraP Oct 30, 2014 at 01:34 PM about the 2002 Ford Focus ZX5

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 ZX5 ford focus has had a rough idle and a vibration.  It has 150,000+ miles.  I had it diagnosed at the ford dealer but nothing showed up.  They said that these little cars were bad about doing this when they got a lot miles on them.  They also said the vibration could be coming from the automatic transmission but it is shifting fine. Today on the way home it started shaking really bad and the oil light and the sun with the ! in it came on.  Can you tell me what is wrong?
