power locks

Asked by Focus2006 Aug 17, 2018 at 06:35 PM about the 2006 Ford Focus ZX5 SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My ford focus driver's side door will not lock and unlock using the remote fob.  I
can manually lock it, it just doesn't work with the fob.  All the other doors work
fine using the fob.  Thinking maybe the solenoid is out?  Any ideas?

Or the wiring where it passes through the door. You can test the solenoid easily enough if you cam access the connector for it
