Power steering sensor went off
and received computer message
that indicated power steering
fault. What does that mean and
how do i fix it?

Most times that means the power steering pump itself has or has begun to fail or the electronics associated with the system need attention. A good shop can hook it up to their diagnostic equipment to let you know.
