Blower direction switch

Asked by David Jan 05, 2016 at 11:27 AM about the 2002 Ford Taurus SES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have tried switching the direction for the air to
blow from dashboard. It doesn't come out in any
position. The fan is running, just not blowing out of
dashboard in any location. Please advise what to
look for. Thank you.

This is directly from the service manual symptom chart for not being able to control air flow direction. No vacuum to the remote climate control module. Remote climate control module leaks vacuum. Air distribution door binding/stuck. Vacuum line kinked/pinched. Vacuum control motor. A/C vacuum check valve (19A563). A/C vacuum reservoir tank (19A566). Vacuum control motor actuator arm not connected to the door lever. ---Some of the diagnosis is different for eatc and manual a/c controls but the direction control is pretty much the same.

Where do i find the vacuum hose to the remote climate control unit. Ps i,m in australia we are right hand drive which i guess will alter the position of some controls
