Depends on what is wrong. If the bearings are going out I would not drive it.
I think that is exactly what is wrong with it. It sounds like a "roaring" when I'm driving it. I plan to drive it straight to the mechanic in the morning. Hopefully I can just order a new compressor and have him put it in for me.
