My Honda Civic 06 LX will not start

I have a Honda Civic 06 LX. The car will not start.  I had trouble with the car for couple
days.  I though it was the battery problem but I already changed it the other day. It is
not the starter since I got it replaced two weeks ago. It will work when I charge the
battery for couple minutes but it will die again after an hr. When I put my key in the
ignition, nothing will turn on. I do not know what else the problem could be.  I have a
friend that know a bit about cars and he said it may be the alternator. Any
suggestions?
