I have a pt cruiser 01. I recently change radiator and radiator cap also the thermostat, while im driving the temp. Gauge goes low but when I get into de city the gauge goes to the middle.

You may want to make sure your radiators fans are working properly.Fan will cut on at half way temp up.As long as you stay at half temp you are good,but any higher is not normal.The gurgle sound you hear in resivoir ,prolly could be you put a low tempeture thrmostat in it,it will have blow back.If you are not losing water you should be ok.

I had the same issue with my 2007...I had a leaky head gasket, and "bubbles" had formed causing the water to bubble up....car was overheating. We used some kind of fix-lead added in the radiator and after getting rid of the"bubble" it has worked fine.
