Make sure battery has a full charge, battery cables and connections all good?
Well I hit the key or something? Note the diagram for starter motor. At the starter motor, two voltage circuits, one comes from the battery, the other circuit goes hot with key in the crank position. It may be possible to jump the relay to see if starter will crank the engine. Use jumper wire at cavities on load side of relay, right side in the diagram, the starter motor should crank the engine. That doesn't mean it will start, but, it will show you the starter motor will work and the engine isn't seized. The left side of relay, in diagram, is the control side, that side needs voltage and ground. I did notice that it may be possible for your security system to disable the starter motor. Any applicable trouble codes? If security system is involved, I doubt I can help?
F_O_R says low tire pressure will cause this
The problem is it is a breakage between the ignition and the starter LOL I have been using a chisel to jump start my car I was thinking it is the plastic piece that comes from the ignition to the starter that you have to plug in is it unsafe to splice that wire and tie it straight to the starter straight to the starter?
That powertrain control module. that code is coming up
If wiring circuit problem, splice it, fix it. Whatever to get you on the road. The control side of relay, in diagram, needs voltage and ground or the relay won't energize. Jumper the load side of relay will crank starter motor, unless wiring is faulty. The load side of relay is right side in diagram. On the control side of relay, left side in diagram, you can use a test light between those two cavities, key in the crank position, the lamp should come on, if not, your missing voltage or ground? If you got a trouble code, what is the code numbered?
The code is 1682 powertrain control modul but thanks a lot that's exactly what I'm going to do I will let you know how it turns out
