Your overheating could be a bad fan, a clogged radiator, a bad water pump, a bad thermostat, or a combination of any of these. Common to this vehicle after 2003. Thermostat is a cheap fix, so I'd start there and, if that doesn't fix the problem, try flushing the radiator. If flushing doesn't solve your problems, you might have to replace it. If the gremlins still have custody of your engine, then have your fan checked to see that it's cooling properly. If, after addressing all these concerns, your problem persists, get ready to spend some real cash on the water pump and or the head gasket, or both (as if the cash you already put out checking and/or replacing everything else I have suggested). Good luck and may your discoveries be minor and inexpensive.
