2001 PT Cruiser

I fell asleep while waiting for my gradaughrer to
get off the bus with my lights on. I had to get a
jump and after I did my car over heated just going
up the driveway. It was cold before and the
driveway isn't that long. It now overheats going
very short distances sometimes to a boil . Two
years ago I replaced everything because it was
overheating. The fluid that comes out is rust
colored like dirt.

You most definitely need to do a cooling system flush. Prestone Super Flush is really good.

Also may want to replace thermostat since anti freeze is a rust color may have rusted thermostat shut.

Would that happen so quickly one minute I was driving it then the nextbit is overheating in Oregon weather going 200ft?

Yes definitely make sure the fan is coming on and a thermostat that is stuck closed can cause vehicle to over heat quickly.

And also very low anti freeze or none at all in cooling system will cause quick over heating.

I thought of that it was come tell full. I will check the can because I have had that problem in the past
