Can i drive my pt cruiser with the 3rd
cylinder missfiring for a few days until my
mechanic is available?

It should not hurt it,as long as it is not running hot,will burn more fuel though.

If its a short trips maybe? Also depends on how bad its running. Is it misfiring because the Plug Or Plug Wire? If its a wire make sure its kept off other wires or metal. If you know its a plug stop at a auto-zone or O'Rielys they will let you borrow the tools to change it out may even help you too if you ask. Same with the plug wires.

I think its time we all get together around the US and file a huge class action lawsuit against Chrysler ...we hav the same issue on our PT with 3rd cylinder misfire..hundreds of dollars spent....this is crazy....cant get the car inspected because of the engine light....hav car cant travel..... LAWSUIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..

Change the darn injectors clean fuel bar install a Inline filter Of course after a pressure test each injector which I can but gauge at harbor freight 2o bucks. An if. Need injectors four at 35 each
