you could call pep boys, Midas, NAPA, many auto parts places also do service....call for a price...nothing mysterious about this operation~ If there is an access hatch in the trunk or under the back seat would make a four hour job into a half-hour job~

thanx so much. being in the dark completely sucks, especially in this economy.

you could do it yourself...easy, the tricky part is the circular retaining piece...fuel lines probably are quick disconnect and need one of those removal sleeve tools~....easy, they are everywhere~

thanks again. Is there a way to definitively tell where the access to the fuel pump is on the 2002 touring edition cruiser? thank you again, have a killer holiday!

yah...it's a little access panel from inside the passenger cabin~...follow where the filler neck is...close to that lateral location~

you should NEVER run the tank dry or less than 1/4 full...the fuel pump needs to keep it's cool and quickly overheats and fails when there's no gas in there~
