2004 pt cruiser fan not working

Asked by 87flipper Aug 11, 2014 at 02:04 PM about the 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turned the ac on to see if the fan is
working and it isn't.  I first suspected it
when my coolant tank was boiling and
spitting out coolant. After 25 min of driving.
What are the problems for this? Most
common. What should I replace?

Check for and check the radiator fan relay. ( under hood ) if good you may have a bad fan,

don't feel bad I have a 2005 PT cruiser I replace my whole entire day AC system including sand and relay and my AC still doesn't work and has got very frustrating seems to be a common issue and it cannot be solved the only thing I can be thinking of is that maybe the harness on the car is bad or the ECM could be causing problems I'm not for sure
