I forgot to say that after the day and a half of cold there is no freon in system either gone out somewhere but there are NO leaks found anywhere

So you have a leak most likely in the evaporator where it's hard to check for a leak because it is in the dash. Try this since 1 1/2 days before empty add some freon stop leak that you can purchase at auto stores not saying it will work for you but it worked for me when I had a leak in the A.C system that leaked out every 2 days and its been 2 years now and still holding.
the evaporator is new. Mechanic says no leaks in it. Just dumfounded they cannot find the problem

Did they put some freon in it that has a dye in it ? That would pin point where the leak is as you can see the dye.
yes several times still not luck next going to check the lines comiing out of the evaporator on top
i had a pt that had a small hole in the suction line at the compressor. the hose was against a frame crossmember and you could not see it.
