Did I do something wrong?

I changed my rear brake pads and when I was finished I started the car to go for a test drive and my abs and trac lights come on. How do I get these lights to turn off? I have already disconnected the positive battery terminal and reconnected to no avail.

did you refill the master cyl...sorry to ask but you never know?
The only thing both alarms have in common is the Pick-up units that are located beside each wheel ... if it fails to send a signal the computer thinks the wheels are not rotating at the same speed
Thanks for all the help! I found a broken wire by my right front wheel sensor where it had rubbed against the front rotor. Too bad it wasn't on the sensor wire, instead it had to be on the wire that goes to the fuse block. Very difficult to replace, just have to solder and tape, I guess.
