Find correct Master cylinder for a Chrysler Grand Caravan SE 1999

Asked by GuruX3DDP Nov 25, 2018 at 09:18 AM about the 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Chrysler Grand Caravan SE 1999 (US Army overseas) AWD 3.8 - Not sure what Brake master cylinder fits.  Brake pedal goes down almost to the floor, gets some breaking pushing all down. ABS kicks in and is dangerous to drive.
Will send VIN on request for further details.

Before blaming it on the master check the see if the hub / wheel bearings are loose if one or both are loose will cause brake pedal to go to floor.

Yes, I was going to change hub / wheel bearings anyway because they are really noisy. Rubber squeaky noise. The weird fact is that this brake issue started few days ago. Brake was 100% ok at night, on the floor next morning. Anyway I'll proceed to change bearings first. Thank you
