Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have an 02 grand caravan sport that was in a front end collision. since then the front has been repaired. there is some issues such as the doors cannot be locked unless the key is on, the radio does not work, dome light does not turn on unless key is on, cluster does not illuminate when door is opened, and some other quirky things. iv been told it could possibly be the ignition switch. just throwing it out there and seeing if anyone has any knowledge before i go throwing parts in. thank you for your time.

Talk to your insurance adjuster before buying parts. It's sounds like the problems are a result of the accident or there were mistakes made during the repair.

i did the repairs. the only damage was body damage and a couple cut wires that have since been repaired.

We had a similar problem with a customers van. There is a harness on the left side of the vehicle located behind the inner fender.Check there for broken wires.
