Abs & Brake Light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My abs and brake light came on and won’t go off.
Originally, I had a check engine light on, due to a egr
valve. I replaced the egr valve myself, and had to wait to
go in for emissions because everything reset and wasn’t
ready. Then when that all cleared, the Brake and Abs light
came on and stayed on. I can’t figure it out. Wheels are
good, lines are good, fluids are good. It just suddenly
happened and now I can’t pass emissions because of the
lights on. Please help!

Thanks for replying!!! The only wire disconnected was the wire to the egr valve. And was reconnected, but the abs and brake light wasn’t on prior to the repair. Would a faulty sensor cause both the brake and abs light to be on?

Have the same issue, including egr valve error. Did you ever discover the source of the problem?

Recently had my right time rod inner, outer replaced and an alignment done to my 2003 dodge gran caravan. Now the abs light came on. Is this lightin anyway connected to the work done?
