Red dash brake light

Asked by ManVan777 May 16, 2017 at 12:36 AM about the 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I all of a sudden get a red brake light on
the dash while driving. Will only trigger
when the cruise on or when I reverse. I
have removed the batt and checked the
IPM ground to batt. No rubbed worse,
brake fluid is topped up. Brakes work fine
no leaks just light cones on with the cruise!
Need some help

Yeah pulled codes with an ABS reader nothing came up. Looked at the wiring from the resevior low level switch to the IPM found no chaffing or damage. Had that batt in for 2 years nothing changed on the van at all when this light started coming on with the cruise. Going to start checking grounds next. Someone must have had this issue before!
