I HAVE A 1992 DODGE RAM 150 TRUCK 5.2 THAT RANDOMLY JUST SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING???

MY TRUCK RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING, THEN I PULL OVER
WAIT A FEW SECONDS AND IT STARTS BACK UP.  SOMETIMES IT GOES
A FEW MILES THEN DOES IT AGAIN OR EVEN DAYS THEN RANDOMLY IT
SHUTS OFF AGAIN ALMOST LIKE IT NEEDS FUEL BUT THE PUMP IS
GOOD AND FILTER CLEAN???  ANY IDEAS??

You may have an intermittent fuel vapor lock. Gas bubbles can form in the fuel if the gas line gets too hot. Perhaps it runs near some part of your exhaust system. This happened to me in a Volvo due to low fuel pressure in the line. Check all ignition wiring and components, including your engine's computer, then check the fuel supply system for hot spots. Vapor lock gets worse in warm weather. Volvo tried a replacement pump, then added an auxiliary pump, but the problem was tricky to solve

GuruBK1W1 Did you ever find the problem Mine does the same thing. I sent my cpu in to be checked and they replaced a part but it still shuts off on me.
