The Radio in my Ranger doesn't work, I want to put a new one in. Will any type of radio work?

I want to put a new one in thats a lot better then whats in it. The one in it is the Factory
radio, it has no cd player or anything. I want to put a new one in. So can I just put
anything in it?

any radio that will fit in the hole should work. you can get install kits that will have trim plates to make it a clean install. you can also get wiring harnesses to make it easier to connect the new radio to the wiring in your truck.
