1991 ranger 4.0 manual 5spd clutch will not disingadge

it's probably a hydraulic clutch , is the pedal stiff or sloppy ? There is a bleeder on the tranny. and a reservoir under the hood , don't force it into gears you'll ruin it

Could be the clutch pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch slave cylinder or master cylinder. Most likely is the clutch slave cylinder has gone bad. Check the fluid in the clutch reservoir.
