1991 ranger wont start

Asked by zillman Dec 02, 2015 at 05:08 PM about the 1991 Ford Ranger S Standard Cab SB

truck ran great. died at a light had it towed home. replaced crank
sensor,ignition module and intake side coil. have great spark on exhaust side
and good fuel pressure at rail. power to injectors and they ohm out ok. ijectors
not pulsing. replaced computer and still no pulse signal...what am i missing.

Possibly the p/u coil in the distributor is bad. Also do some reading at the link. I am guessing you have the 2.3L 4 cylinder.....http://easyautodiagnostics.com/ford/2.3L/icm-and- crank-sensor-tests-1

Distributor-less, I knew that as I had a similar truck years ago. 2.3L with 2 spark plugs per cylinder or a V-6?
