Dodge Ram B-250 Generator-Propane will not start

Asked by GuruV5XX2 Aug 06, 2018 at 03:53 PM about the 1991 Dodge RAM Van B250 Cargo RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My used 1991 Dodge Ram B-250 Van has a propane powered generator on the left side with a propane line running to it and it starts when I spray starter fluid into the air filer and then stops.  It sounds like it wants to start getting the electric off the vehicle alternator.  It is not getting propane to run.  There is a regulator on the right underside of the Van with a set screw in the right side.  I loosened the set screw and tried to turn the indicator to the right and it will not turn.  What is wrong?  The propane gas stove works fine.  Filed: 8/6/2018 Dan Berkshiregoldens@yahoo.com
