Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey everyone, I bought a van 3 weeks ago a week after I bought it I went out to start it
and it wouldn't even crank. When I put the key in the ignition and give it a half turn I get
power but when I do the full turn there is no crank. I tried jumping it thinking the battery
was low, changed the battery, and changed the starter. I still have the same problem
power but no attempt at turning over. Please help

actually figured it out, it was the ignition itself i ran a wire from the battery and starter to the cab so it’ll hit wire to start with the key turned on
