Stalling when hot

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 90 Gmc k1500 5.7 tbi. I just
dropped a new motor in it and since have
had an issue when it is very hot out and
I've travelled at least 30 miles from home
on my return trip she just dies. I swapped
all parts, sensors and modules from prior
motor seeing as they were all new and not
the reason old motor was trashed. I have
been through 2 fuel pumps, fuel filter, coil,
cap, rotor, wires, map sensor, icm, all new
relays, ran tests on every end for power,
spark, amp, proper ground etc... When it
shuts down my dash resets so I'm left to
believe it's electrical but have searched
high n low. Everyone I bring it to is as
stumped as I am. Does anyone have any
suggestions of something I may have
missed? I don't want to junk this truck. I've
put too much time n money into building it
to just dump it.

No error codes coming up? With it resetting the electrical it leads me to believe that you are getting very bad heat soak into the starter which is effecting the conductivity of the solenoid.
