93 GMC Sierra 1500 shift issue

I just purchased this truck and I drained 1/2
pint of transmission fluid out of it but it’s still
shifting real hard from first to second and then
raps high before overdrive at 70mph… I’m
used to the same truck but it was a standard
and had a killer engine installed so I hat are
some suggestions on fixing this issue

I'd say it needs a rebuild , and not a bargain job from joey jerk wrench , you need a professional , why did you buy a truck with tranny problems ?
