Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What would cause my truck to not start on an infrequent basis? I have had this problem for some time. It will go sometimes as lonng as four months with out a hitch, then all of a sudden, it acts like the battery is dead but it is not (solenoid clicking). I have to cycle the key tumbler multiple times be for it engages. The Starter has been replaced(it went bad) the key tumbler has been replaced(It frozen in the run position) the positive battery cable has been replaced(it cooked). As far as I can tell, all of the conections seem secure. Any one have an idea? Thanks
