transmission is not keeping up with motor what do i do?

i have a 94 gmc 350 rebilt changed the fuel
injected carb with a carborated carb i have the ez
efi hooked up but the tranny is not keeping up with
the moter shifting hard and dosnt go into over
drver is that somthing i could fix or need a shop for
that??

The 94 1500 was the first year for the 4L60E (electronic) transmission. In order for it to work It needs inputs from a computer, to control shifting. It sounds like you are missing the inputs from the engine and the trans is in limp mode. You need throttle position sensor, vehicle speed sensor, coolant temperature senor, and a tach signal.
