Truck will turn over but wont start

Asked by maddnnes Jul 01, 2016 at 01:48 PM about the 1996 GMC Sierra 1500 C1500 SLE Standard Cab LB

The fuel pump is working fine we checked it. also put a new fuel filter in it. Gas gets to the filter fine.We tried putting gas down the carb and it run till the gas burns,Then just turns over but wont start.what else could it be im totally confused i really need some help

Could be the fuel pressure regulator or no power going to fuel injectors.

Did you try pulling fuel line off where it connects to throttle body or injector rail and see if got fuel pumping out line there?
